The Great Smoky Mountains scenic backdrop make Franklin, NC one of the most rewarding, beautiful and challenging cycling areas in the country.

The Ruby Ride is intended to suit all levels of cyclists. The ride consists of rolling country roads and testy hill climbs to challenge all riders. The run will be leave the High School and run to the Little Tennessee Greenway which is a paved, gravel path along the Little Tennessee Greenway. The run offers a 5k or 10k option and the bicycle ride has a 24, 40 and 63 mile option.

The cost of the run is $20 for the 5k and $25 for the 10k until May 1, 2012 and then the price will increase $5.00 The cost of the bicycle ride is $30.00 until 5/1/12 and then will be $40.00.

Franklin Daybreak Rotary raises money for several organizations in our community including, CareNet, Angel Medical Foundation, Franklin High School Interact Club, Kid's Place, Community Care Clinic and many more. We also have several international projects that we support, including Clean Water Projects.
